Submission information

As in previous years, attendees will be able to submit proposals for a Symposium, as well as Talks/Posters. The chair of the symposium should submit the proposal. There is no limit to how many Talk/Poster abstracts can be submitted.

 

Symposium submissions

Symposium submissions are open until Friday 14 February  (23.59 UK time)

Proposals should focus on a thematic topic related to multisensory research (broadly defined) and can include between 4 and 6 individual presentations. We will ask you to provide a synopsis (max. 300 words) for the symposium as well as abstracts for each presentation (max. 250 words per abstract). The template is here. Posters and/or Talks submissions

Submissions for regular abstracts for posters and talks (max. 250 words) will be open until Friday 14 March (23.59 UK time). The template for submission is here. For instructions see below. 

 

General information for submission

To submit an abstract : 

1. You will first need to log in to sciencesconf.org or create an account (top right)

Note, if creating an account: once you have clicked on the link, you might receive an error message like "invalid token" or "this page does not exist". It doesn't matter, your account has been created successfully, and you can then log in to the website by clicking "Login".

2. Download the appropriate submission template from the link above. Start by renaming it in the following structure : LASTNAME_submissiontype_IMRF2025.docx.
    Example : Mickey Mouse is submitting an abstract for a talk or poster. The file is named MOUSE_talkorposter_IMRF2025.docx

3. Fill in the relevant parts of the template (talk/poster submission OR symposium submission) with your abstract.

4. Click on "MY SPACE" > "My submissions" on the website (on the left).

5. Fill in the metadata of your submission (title, submission type, keywords).

6. Fill in the list of authors by manually writing the name, email and affiliation or automatically by looking for the name in the sciencesconf.org database.
    Indicate the corresponding author and speaker(s). 

7. Upload your submission file (NAME_submissiontype_IMRF2025.docx) on the platform (no supplementary files are allowed). Don't forget to click on "Upload". You should now see your file, converted to pdf format, in the list of files. 

8. Review your submission and ... click on "Submit"

You will receive an email of confirmation.
You will be able to modify your submission until the submission deadline, by going on "MY SPACE" > "My submissions". You will not receive a new confirmation email after modification.
